Last night in Greenville, I was amazed at what I saw. LEAP has recently turned 60, and I am 57 years old. I am exhausted just by his energy and his work ethic to ensure that he gave everyone their money's worth. He has a magnetic appeal and seemed to be having as much fun and enjoyment as the audience. We saw a three-hour, non-stop show of old hits, rock standbys, and a few add-ons like Satisfaction (speaking of the Stones). I've always heard about the concerts given by LEAP but he never seemed to tour in the South during my heyday in the mid-seventies and mid-eighties when I was attending concerts by the Stones, Deep Purple, Van Halen, etc. I am old enough and have experienced enough to limit my superlatives but this guy is truly amazing, and using the moniker "legend" is absolutely appropriate.
